Our platform is a SaaS solution featuring various technical aspects, such as a dynamic and intelligent questionnaire, a CO2 Calculator, a reporting tool, and a range of API connections. Your role

As Tech Lead at Eevery, you are the driving force within the tech team. On the one hand, you assist the Product Owner in analysing and developing the backlog, thus achieving the business objectives. On the other hand, you ensure our stable, flexible, high-quality SaaS platform is maintained. You continuously seek improvements in the architecture, the technologies used, the process, and the people. You challenge your team to develop good ideas and innovate further, and are responsible for hiring new colleagues. As Tech Lead, you support your team technically and in their personal development. In addition to coaching team members, you also actively develop our platform, of which you are responsible.

Key responsibilities

• Technically design and develop our sustainability platform, from front-end to back-end;
• Collaborate and liaise with our international team to innovate and improve our product;
• Actively contribute to the company's technological roadmap, including researching and implementing new technologies to accelerate product innovation;
• Responsible for leading the tech team, including coaching and developing the team to excel in delivering high-quality products;
• Continue to participate in the entire development cycle actively;
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of the software by implementing and managing quality control protocols and testing procedures;

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
• Interested in sustainability and making a difference;
• Strong communication skills (English & Dutch), enabling you to explain the right technical decisions to both technical and non-technical colleagues;
• Experience in providing feedback, motivating, and coaching developers;
• Experience in maintaining or creating CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Quarkus, Springboot, Micronaut or any related framework;
• Experience with Agile Scrum;

Preferred Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a Developer and worked with Java, TypeScript (Angular or similar), and databases;
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS);
• Experience in producing good code through the application of SOLID principles, unit testing, and TDD/DDD;
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible or Cloud formation;
• Collaborative and supportive, ready to share skills and help improve the team.
